Phil Ivey has been branded as the best poker contender on the globe by quite a few of the top pros. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before reaching turning one. His papa showed him to penny-ante 5-Card Stud poker. From then on on, he was addicted to poker and wanted to pickup everything he could about poker. Phil credits his achievements to hard work and an immeasurable love for poker. Phil states that he is picking up skills every day and is very abashed about his success. He knows he makes mistakes in each session of poker and constantly strives to get better.

Despite the fact that Phil has come first in some large tournaments, he likes destroying cash games on a normal basis.
