Phil Ivey has been labeled as the number one poker player on the globe by many of the top pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and moved to New Jersey before reaching turning one. His grandfather introduced him to one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From then on on, Phil was addicted to poker and wanted to learn every little thing he possibly could about poker. He routinely told his parents that he was going to be a professional poker player. He began competing seriously after acquiring a fake ID by the name of Jerome. He honed his game at the poker rooms of Atlantic City. He made a decision to take his skills to the successive level and moved out west to Vegas. Phil continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet.
